Ian Porter

Brief Biography.

Ian was born in Maidstone, Kent in 1978 and lived in the village of Kingswood throughout his educational years. Soon after, he met his now wife Sue and they bought their first house in Ashford, Kent. This was Ian's first venture into the world of renovation. He spent much time improving the property and learnt many valuable skill sets. They went on to have a daughter and not long after moved to Warmlake, Maidstone where he renovated his second property.

In 2015 Ian and his family moved into the Triple Plea pub in Halesworth, Suffolk. After a successful stint, Ian moved to a house in Stoke Holy Cross, Norfolk which was in need of much renovation and carries on with this project at the time of writing this. Career wise, Ian teamed up with James and I & J Property Services was born!

When Ian isn't busy at work or with his own construction projects, he is a keen fisherman, he focuses mainly on carp fishing but also enjoys sea, course and even a bit of fly fishing from time to time. He has fished many lakes in and around Kent as well as heading further afield to France and is now enjoying trying out the spots East Anglia has to offer.
